Computer virus and scam help in Nashville

A pop-up that says to call Microsoft, a caller who wanted on your computer, or an email account sending messages you didn't write. We clean it up and check what was touched.

Visits are $99, credited toward your job if you hire us.

If it's happening right now

  • Don't call the number in a pop-up. Real companies don't put phone numbers in warnings.
  • If someone is connected to your computer, turn off the Wi-Fi or unplug the network cable.
  • If you gave out card or bank details, call your bank using the number on the back of your card.
  • Don't pay anyone who calls you first claiming to be tech support, your bank or the government.

Then call or text us at (615) 490-0876.

What we do

  • Remove remote-access programs a scammer installed, and any software you didn't ask for.
  • Scan and clean up viruses, pop-ups, fake antivirus and browser extensions.
  • Check your email for forwarding rules and sign-ins you don't recognize.
  • Change important passwords with you, and turn on two-step sign-in.
  • Make sure updates and real protection are running.
  • Write down what we found and what we changed, so you have it if your bank asks.

How pricing works

On-site appointments have a $99 visit fee. If you hire us for the job, the full $99 is credited toward it. We tell you what the work will cost before we go further.

If the computer still works and nobody is connected to it, a remote session may be enough to start.

Areas we cover

We come to homes and offices within about 20 miles of downtown Nashville, including East Nashville, Donelson, Hermitage, Old Hickory, Madison, Goodlettsville, Hendersonville, Mt. Juliet, Antioch, La Vergne, Brentwood, Nolensville and Bellevue. Just outside that? Ask and we will let you know.

Questions

Can you get my money back?

No. Only your bank or card company can do that, so call them first. We can give you a written summary of what happened on the computer.

Do you have to take the computer away?

Usually not. Most cleanups are done at your home during the visit.

I let a scammer onto my computer. Is it ruined?

Usually not. We remove what they installed, check your accounts and change passwords so they can't get back in.

How do I know it's really you calling?

Our number is (615) 490-0876. If a call or text asks for passwords, codes or card numbers, it isn't us. We never ask for those by phone or text.
